We arrived in France thursday evening after a very quick train ride from London. We got right on the metro to change stations and took the next train to Orléans where we have been staying since then. It is the Joan of Arc festival which has been full of parades, medieval fairs, markets and demonstrations - oh and rain. Tomorrow we take a day trip to Blois and then tuesday back to Paris and we will explore the city for a few days. We are also going to visit Versailles and go to Vimy Ridge. On the 19th we are taking a scenic train ride across la Suisse (that's Switzerland), not sure yet where we will spend the time between.
Excited for June 5th in Canada!!!
